Mens Paddle 4 Empowerment & Peace

Beyond The Horizon of our Hopes and Fears

Facing our fears of the unknown, be it from the shadows of our past, the challenges in the present, or the uncertainty of our futures, most of us agree, in 2022 perhaps more than ever, these can be challenging times.

A  select group of Ulladulla Surfers have been selected to face their fears and paddle due east, towards the horizon, for one and half hours. Well beyond the view from land, let alone to the comforts of the carpark and safety for the surfers out to sea, this is an exercise of both physical and mental resilience.

Mens Paddle for Empowerment & Peace is the quest by a small number of select men, to draw upon our potential to find courage in the face of adversity together. To communicate our fears and vulnerabilities with each other. To support and love each other for everything that we are feeling and represent. And to ultimately find peace within, for ourselves, for our families, our communities, and for the benefit of all.

Beyond all goals, the motivation for Mens Paddle for Empowerment and Peace is to promote sharing and connecting, through conversations between men about the challenges we’re facing, as we’re facing them, for the sake of generating insights, support, love, wisdom, and happiness.

This is an event by men for men, driven to build happier family relationships, and broader communities for all.

The Mens Paddle 4 Empowerment and Peace will be professionally filmed and documented thanks to Dane Singleton Studio to inspire those that choose to stand up against their fears and figuratively or otherwise paddle towards the horizon in years to come.
